![]() It's been used a lot to "aim down sights" in a lot of shooters. I usually use F for melee, but this game took care of that with a LMB press. We almost always have to interact with something. ![]() Use (being E by default) is pretty much ubiquitous in games now. This has been around for a long time and I like it. It just seems right for pulling up the "dashboard" where you can select Quests, Map, Inventory, etc. I prefer to keep "game interrupting" keypresses away from my hand (left), such as Map and Inventory, etc. Secondly, I pray that there are enough keys available that I can do everything I want to do in the game, without having to resort to using some crazy key combinations. It must be something these youngsters are able to do, but my fingers, hands, wrists can't do those types of contortions. ![]() I'm a button-masher, and often go into games and play for a few minutes, first wondering why so many games map critical stuff to the Alt and Ctrl keys.
